For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
One last push of moisture will bring more widespread showers to the area
this morning through the early afternoon as this wave moves from southwest
to northeast. Expect more steady light to moderate stratiform precipitation
and gusty winds. Locally heavy rain rates will be possible with any
embedded thunderstorms, which will bring a localized threat of flash
flooding and debris flows over any recent burn scars. The morning cloud
cover and showers could impact storm intensity and resultant storm coverage
later in the day. Looking ahead, drier and warmer conditions return this
weekend with isolated storms possible over the Colorado Divide Mountains.
