For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
A storm moves in from the Southwest today with clouds and scattered showers
developing over southeast Utah and southwest Colorado this morning. Clouds,
showers and thunderstorms increase and spread northward this afternoon as
the storm center reaches the Four Corners this afternoon. Higher elevations
will see light snow, mainly above pass level. Showers, thunderstorms and
high elevation snow continue tonight as the storm moves overhead en route
to the eastern Colorado plains. Snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are
expected with up to 6 inches in some areas above timberline. Mountain
passes may see light accumulations leading to slushy conditions. Showers
decrease Sunday, though isolated showers and thunderstorms linger into
Sunday afternoon. Cooler temperatures arrive with this unsettled weather
and highs today are expected to dip below normal with even cooler
temperatures on Sunday.
