.DISCUSSION...Non-critical fire weather conditions are expected
through Sunday afternoon. Low to medium (20-60%) chances of rain
from scattered to numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms
continue into the late night hours tonight, then decrease to less
than 10% into the early morning hours tomorrow as light westerly
winds filter drier air into the region from west-to-east. Winds
shift to northwesterly throughout tomorrow morning, enhancing
across the western Kansas/Nebraska and eastern Colorado-border
counties to near 10-20 mph, gusting at times to 20-30 mph,
tomorrow afternoon as relative humidity values minimize around
18 to 65 percent, lowest across the Colorado counties. Dry
conditions persist into Sunday, when southeasterly winds return,
gradually strengthening across the areas mentioned above to as
much as 10-20 mph, with gusts to 20-30+ mph, by the afternoon,
with relative humidity minimizing around 20-70 percent, again
lowest in Colorado.
