.DISCUSSION...
Critical fire weather conditions are not expected over the weekend
due to the recent rainfall. A cold front is beginning to move
through the area as of 240 PM MDT, bringing northerly winds and gusts
of 20-30 mph until ~ 8 PM MDT/9 PM CDT. Breezy winds out of the south could
return Sunday afternoon, primarily along and west of Highway 385 in
Kit Carson and Yuma counties. Next potential for elevated fire
weather conditions could come on Tuesday for those west of the
Colorado state line as humidity values could fall into the upper
teens with winds gusting 20-25 mph possible.
