.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns continue to be minimal as a moist airmass
remains in place over the county warning area (CWA). Winds will be
light and primarily from the east/southeast until Wednesday evening.
After 6pm, there is a 20-40% chance for showers and thunderstorms to
move into the area from the west. Confidence decreases for storm
activity east of the Kansas state line. Lightning and gusty erratic
winds will be the main concern with any storms that are able to
form. Heavy rainfall is expected with storms, which would further
alleviate and fire weather concerns. Storms are expected to exit the
area from the east by early Thursday morning. Winds will return to
light and variable once storms leave the area.
