.DISCUSSION...
No critical fire weather concerns for Friday or Saturday. Winds today
are forecast to be stronger in the wake of the cold front with speeds
around 20 mph and gusts up to 40 mph. Speeds should be elevated
through the daytime hours, but relative humidity is only forecast to
drop into the low 20s. After this evening, winds should be light
around 5-10 mph as the high pressure expand over the Plains. The
lower speeds are forecast to linger through Saturday.
Sunday and Monday, there is some concern for critical fire weather
conditions as low pressure begins to develop along the Front Range
and increase the winds. Gusts could reach 30-35 mph each day.
Relative humidity is also forecast to be lower in the teens as
temperatures warm towards 100 during the afternoon hours.
