.DISCUSSION...
This morning, patchy fog is possible along and north of U.S. 34.
Throughout the day, weak scattered showers are possible with storms
expected this evening and overnight. Winds will favor coming from the
northeast during the day, under 15 MPH. The later storms may be
severe and potential hazards include: 60-70+ MPH winds, 1-2 inch
hail, flash flooding, and a small tornado risk.
Over the next week, RH values remain above 40%, eliminating any risk
of critical fire weather conditions. Early to middle of next week, we
could see gusts in the 30-40 MPH range. The potential for severe
storms return Sunday afternoon, and there is a 25% chance of weak
afternoon storms for the next week.
