.DISCUSSION...
At this time, there are no concerns for critical fire weather
conditions through the weekend. While air temperatures will increase
from day to day, into the mid 90`s on Friday, upper 90`s and lower
100`s on Saturday and lower-mid 100`s on Sunday, relative humidity
is forecast to remain above 20% and winds are forecast to remain
below 20 mph.
Thunderstorms capable of producing cloud to ground lightning and
wind gusts up to 70 mph are possible in eastern Colorado and portions
of northwest Kansas (south of I-70) this afternoon and early this
evening, mainly between 4-9 pm MDT (5-10 pm CDT).
