.DISCUSSION...
This morning, patchy fog is possible along and north of I-70.
Lingering showers and weak storms may persist through the morning
hours, more likely in northwestern Kansas and southwestern Colorado.
A few severe storms are possible this afternoon, forming in eastern
Colorado and moving to the southeast. These storms may produce:
50-70 MPH winds, 1-2 inch hail, flash flooding, and a small tornado
risk. Winds will favor coming from the northeast during the day,
under 15
Over the next week, RH values remain above 40%, eliminating any risk
of critical fire weather conditions. Tuesday and Wednesday, we could
see gusts in the 30-50 MPH range. 20-40% chance of daily showers and
weak storms over the next week in the afternoon and evening hours.
