.DISCUSSION...
No critical fire weather conditions are expected at this time with
relative humidity above 20% through Thursday and winds less than 20
mph forecast over the weekend.
For today, winds are forecast to increase through the day with speeds
nearing 15-25 mph from the southeast and gusts of 25-40 mph. The
other conditions of note is that storms are forecast late this
afternoon and into the overnight hours. While they are forecast to
produce heavy rain at times, lightning when storms first form may be
able to spark fires. The storms also have a low chance to produce
wind gusts up to 65 mph. Additional storms and strong wind gusts are
possible late Thursday afternoon through the early overnight hours.
