.DISCUSSION...
Northeast winds currently are forecast to gradually shift to the
southeast through the rest of the afternoon before becoming more
southerly overnight. Winds overall are forecast to remain around
5-10 mph sustained but spotty and brief gusts up to 20 mph is
possible especially where cloud cover is not. Strong to severe
storms are again possible this afternoon and evening across eastern
Colorado and extreme northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska with
large hail and erratic winds possibly gusting up to 60 mph along with
cloud to ground lightning.
Southerly winds are forecast to continue Monday being slightly
stronger around 10-15 mph with some gusts of 20-25 mph possible but
moisture remains in place helping keep humidity above 35%.
