This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

Strong to severe storms remain possible before sunrise. Large hail
up to half dollar and damaging winds up to 70 mph appear to be the

especially for areas that have seen multiple rounds heavy rain the
previous days.

Dense fog is possible through a few hours after sunrise.

There is a chance for more severe storms this evening and into
tonight. Large hail and damaging wind gusts are the main threats,
with a very low chance for a tornado near the Tri-State border area.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

Late afternoon and evening storms are possible both Monday and
Tuesday. Large hail and damaging winds continue to be the primary
threats each day. Localized flooding or a brief tornado cannot be
ruled out.

Next Friday, temperatures and heat indices may warm to around
100-105 degrees with the warmest temperatures east of U.S. 83.
