...NWS Damage Survey for 06/08/2024 Tornado and Straight Line Wind Event Update #1...

After review of storm chaser footage and a survey of the area, we
found no damage associated with the tornado that occurred south of
Flagler, Colorado in the southwest portion of Kit Carson County.
The tornado has been given an EF-Unknown rating.

Survey Summary:
Multiple chasers reported a tornado that moved from a wind turbine
field across County Road G into an open field before dissipating.
No damage was reported.
