Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

Showers and thunderstorms developed in northeast Colorado Friday
afternoon and moved across the remainder of the Tri State area
Friday evening. The storms produced a few instances of hail up to
quarter sized and sporadic wind gusts as high as 62 mph. During
the overnight hours, a a few showers and isolated thunderstorms
persisted. Temperatures were in the 60s with gusty southwest winds
in the western part of the area but light southeast winds in
eastern areas.

OUTLOOK... today will be partly cloudy in the morning with
isolated showers and thunderstorms, then mostly sunny in the
afternoon with isolated afternoon thunderstorms. Highs will be in
the lower 90s. Tonight will see a few widely scattered showers and
thunderstorms in the evening, then mostly clear with lows in the
60s. Sunday will be partly sunny and hot with highs in the upper
90s and lower 100s. A few isolated afternoon and evening
thunderstorms will be possible. Lows Sunday night will be in the
60s and 70s.
