...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN NORTON COUNTY THROUGH
1215 AM CDT...

At 1125 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles south of Beaver City to 7 miles east of
Clayton. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Norton around 1130 PM CDT.
  Almena around 1135 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
northwestern Kansas.
