...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT DUNDY AND HITCHCOCK COUNTIES
THROUGH 1245 AM MDT/145 AM CDT/...

At 1213 AM MDT/113 AM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of
strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 12 miles northwest
of Benkelman to 7 miles southeast of Trenton. Movement was northeast
at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Benkelman, Trenton, Culbertson, Stratton, and Max.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM MDT/200 AM
CDT/ for southwestern Nebraska.
