...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EASTERN CHEYENNE COUNTY IN EAST
CENTRAL COLORADO AND SOUTHWESTERN WALLACE COUNTIES IN WEST CENTRAL
KANSAS THROUGH 1015 PM MDT...

At 939 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles east of Cheyenne Wells, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of eastern Cheyenne
County in east central Colorado and southwestern Wallace Counties in
west central Kansas, including the following locations... Arapahoe.

This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 139 and 160, and
between mile markers 164 and 165.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
