...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST /11
PM MST/ TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Snow. Total snow accumulations between 1 and 4 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Kansas.

* WHEN...Until midnight CST /11 PM MST/ tonight.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous travel conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Periods of light snow are expected through
  this afternoon. E to ESE winds will remain light at 5 to 10 mph.
  Little or no blowing snow is expected. Temperatures will struggle
  to exceed the single digits this afternoon. Below zero
  temperatures are likely during the morning hours today and Sunday.
  Bitter cold wind chill readings will persist through the remainder
  of the weekend.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Travel delays are possible along the Interstate 70 corridor in the
Advisory area. If travel is absolutely necessary, drive with extreme
caution and be prepared for sudden changes in visibility. Leave
plenty of room between you and the motorist ahead of you, and allow
extra time to reach your destination. Avoid sudden braking or
acceleration, and be especially cautious on hills or when making
turns. Make sure your car is winterized and in good working order.

For road conditions in Kansas, Nebraska, and Colorado call 511. Do
not use GPS for alternate routes or go around barricades.

  snow are expected through this afternoon. E to ESE winds will
