.DISCUSSION...
Southwest winds this morning are forecast to shift to the northwest
by late morning with sustained winds around 15-20 mph gusting 20-30
mph. Humidity is forecast to remain above 25% precluding any fire
weather concerns. Winds then shift back to the west-southwest by
Tuesday morning. Above normal temperatures in the mid to upper 60s is
forecast to result in humidity values in the upper teens to mid 20s
across the area. Sustained winds of 20-25 and gusts of 30-40 mph may
lead to some elevated fire weather conditions from Colorado fire zone
252 and across Nebraska fire zones 079, 080 and 081. A wind shift to
the north will then occur Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning
as a weak cold front moves through.
