AFTERNOON...
.DISCUSSION...
Sunny skies, west winds gusting to 30 to 40 mph, mild temperatures
and RHs of 15 to 30 percent will result in elevated fire weather
conditions for the rest of this afternoon. A Special Weather Statement
remains in effect.
A moisture starved system will bring a chance of light precipitation
to mainly the northern and eastern parts of the forecast area Tuesday
night into Wednesday morning. Additional chances for precipitation
arrive Thursday night into Friday and over the weekend. Mixed rain/snow
or snow will be possible this weekend, as a cold air mass pushes into
the region.
