There is some potential for strong or severe storms Wednesday afternoon, Thursday afternoon and evening, and again Friday afternoon into Saturday. There is also the potential for torrential rainfall with the stronger storms. Details concerning timing and location are still uncertain at this time. Any thunderstorms that form would pose a hazard to mariners. Increasing southerly winds and building waves could create hazardous conditions for small craft later this week into the weekend.
