...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 AM CST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 15
  inches, with 12 to 24 inches possible in the northwest part of
  Vilas County. Northwest winds gusting to 25 to 35 mph, resulting in
  considerable blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE...Vilas County.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 6 AM CST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Widespread
  blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
  conditions will significantly impact the Wednesday morning and
  evening commutes, and travel across the region.  Isolated power
  outages are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Holiday travelers and hunters should be
  prepared for very difficult travel conditions in the Northwoods
  late tonight through Wednesday night.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your

  8 inches possible with the highest amounts across the northern
  portion of each county. Northwest winds gusting to 30 to 40 mph,
  resulting in considerable blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE...Oneida, Florence, and Forest Counties.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 6 PM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible at times.
  Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The
  hazardous conditions will significantly impact the Wednesday
  morning and afternoon commutes, and travel across the region.
  Isolated power outages are possible.

  inches possible with the highest amounts across the northern
  portion of each county. Northwest winds gusting to 35 to 45 mph,
  resulting in blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE...Langlade and Lincoln Counties.

* WHEN...From 3 AM to 6 PM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on snow covered and slippery road conditions. Areas
  of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The
  hazardous conditions will impact the Wednesday morning and
  afternoon commutes, and travel across the region. Isolated power
  outages are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Holiday travelers and hunters should be
