...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EST THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures in the mid to upper 20s expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast Georgia, the North Carolina
  Foothills and Piedmont, and the Upstate of South Carolina.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM EST this morning.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
  sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
  plumbing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. In-ground
sprinkler systems should be drained. Remove hoses and cover above-
ground pipes.
