...FROST-FREEZE PROGRAM HAS ENDED THIS FALL FOR ALL THE WESTERN
PIEDMONT AND FOOTHILLS OF NORTH CAROLINA..UPSTATE SOUTH
CAROLINA..AND NORTHEAST GEORGIA UNTIL NEXT SPRING...

Temperatures fell down into the 20s this morning across the entire
area east of the mountains, resulting in a hard freeze. The
freezing temperatures effectively ended the growing season across
these zones. Freeze Warnings and Frost Advisories will no longer
be issued for these zones until the growing season begins again in
Spring of 2026.
