At 936 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles east of Gaffney, or near Blacksburg, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Gastonia, Uptown Charlotte, Shelby, Gaffney, York, Central Charlotte,
Southwest Charlotte, Northwest Charlotte, Kings Mountain, and Mt
Holly.
