...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN MCDOWELL AND EAST
CENTRAL BUNCOMBE COUNTIES THROUGH 930 PM EDT...

At 905 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15
miles southwest of Marion, or 4 miles southeast of Black Mountain,
moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Old Fort, Black Mountain, and Montreat.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
