...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN HENDERSON COUNTY
THROUGH 945 PM EDT...
At 908 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles south of Hendersonville, or near Flat Rock, moving north at 5
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Hendersonville, Flat Rock, Laurel Park, Valley Hill, Dana, Tuxedo,
Crab Creek, East Flat Rock, and Horse Shoe.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
