...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL CALDWELL AND
CENTRAL BURKE COUNTIES THROUGH 1030 PM EDT...
At 954 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Morganton, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Morganton, Valdese, Drexel, Rutherford College, Glen Alpine, Lake
Rhodhiss, Cajah`s Mountain, Table Rock, Gamewell, and Oak Hill.
