...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL SPARTANBURG AND WEST
CENTRAL CHEROKEE COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 PM EDT...
At 931 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles west of Spartanburg, or near USC Upstate, moving east at 30
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Spartanburg, Boiling Springs SC, Cowpens, Wellford, Inman, Roebuck,
Croft State Park, USC Upstate, Cedar Springs, and Lyman.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
