...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL MADISON AND NORTH
CENTRAL BUNCOMBE COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM EDT...
At 541 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles east of Marshall, or near Mars Hill, moving north at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mars Hill, Flat Creek, and Barnardsville.
