  Southeastern Polk County in western North Carolina...
  Northeastern Greenville County in Upstate South Carolina...
  Spartanburg County in Upstate South Carolina...
  Northwestern Cherokee County in Upstate South Carolina...

* Until 745 PM EDT.

* At 651 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 9 miles southeast of Forest City to 12 miles
  northwest of Spartanburg to 11 miles northeast of Greenville
  Downtown, moving southeast at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
           damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Spartanburg, Gaffney, Greer, Taylors, Five Forks, Boiling Springs
  SC, Duncan, Lyman, Landrum, and Cowpens.
