* At 644 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles south of
  Statesville, or near Troutman, and is nearly stationary.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Statesville, Troutman, Lake Norman State Park, Sherrills Ford,
