...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM CHST THURSDAY...
...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 9 feet and dangerous rip
  currents.

* WHERE...For the High Surf Advisory, north facing reefs. For the
  High Rip Current Risk, north and east facing reefs.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM ChST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
  localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best
  swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Trade-wind swell and a pulse of long-period
  northeast swell are producing hazardous surf along north facing
  reefs and a high risk of rip currents along north and east
  facing reefs. These swells are on a downward trend, however,
  they are experiencing pulses of higher swell heights. These
  pulses will gradually weaken evening and overnight hours,
  allowing the surf and risk of rip currents to fall below the 9
  foot criteria levels.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Rip currents will be life threatening. Inexperienced swimmers
should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions.
If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don`t swim against
the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline.
If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
