...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS THROUGH LATE MONDAY NIGHT...
...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT...

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents.

* WHERE...East facing reefs of the Marianas.

* WHEN...Through late Monday night.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from
  shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Recent buoy polar spectrum data indicates that
  the primary swell energy continues to shift more to the east,
  diminishing influence along north facing exposures more than
  previously expected. As such, this allowed surf to fall below
  hazardous levels, as well as allowed the rip current risk to drop
  to moderate, along north facing reefs of the Marianas. Even so,
  surf is expected to continue to hover just below hazardous
  criteria, so caution is advised for those venturing out to the
  beaches the next several days.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don`t swim against the
current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline.
If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
