0.15 inches of rain fell yesterday at Guam International Airport,
allowing the KBDI to increase further to 305, which is now in the
moderate category. A higher chance for a wetting rain is not expected
to arrive until Saturday or Saturday night, so the KBDI is likely to
rise again Saturday morning. While the overall fire danger is now
moderate, antecedent moisture will continue to keep a lid on fire
activity for the next few weeks at least. Nevertheless, caution is
still recommended for any outdoor burning during periods when fresh to
strong trade winds are present.
