Please contact our office by email at nws.gum.operations@noaa.gov if you have questions or concerns with this forecast. .DISCUSSION...The feeder bands/monsoon tail extending from Tropical Storm Nari (06W), continue to pull away from the Mariana Islands, leaving behind drier weather and some upper-level cloud cover. To the east, near near 155E, a trade-wind trough is drifting towards the northern islands, ahead of a TUTT cell west-northwest of Wake Island. As these features near the Mariana Islands around Tuesday, shower and thunderstorm chances will start to increase. Continuing to watch the development of the monsoon pattern across Palau and western Yap State as this will bring another potential for unsettle weather, along with a building west to southwest swell later this week as it shifts northward. .TODAY (AGRIHAN ISLAND)... Sky/weather.........Partly sunny (45-55 percent). Isolated showers. Surface winds (kts).Southeast winds 13 to 17 knots. Wave heights........5 to 7 feet. .TONIGHT (AGRIHAN ISLAND)...
