.Synopsis for Stonington ME to Merrimack River Ma out to 25 NM
High pressure in control of the region once again and will at least
stay in control through the first half of the weekend. Then an ocean
storm will develop south of New England. There remain some questions
about how far north it tracks, but it is expected to be rather strong
and expansive. This will at least bring strong northeast wind gusts
and building seas for the local waters. Gale or storm force
conditions are possible depending on the track by Sunday night.
