High pressure will continue to slide east into the northwest Atlantic
today as a warm front lifts north into the region. That warm front
will bring an area of rain showers to the waters overnight, with some
fog developing by sunrise Wednesday. This will be followed by a
strong cold front Thursday that will clear out any fog and low clouds
but also bring gusty winds. Some gale force conditions are possible,
especially outside of the bays. Winds and seas will gradually
diminish into the weekend.
