.Synopsis for Stonington ME to Merrimack River Ma out to 60 NM...
Northeast winds will prevail over the waters through much of this
week with high pressure centered south of Hudson Bay slowly sliding
east. The gradient associated with the high pressure will
occasionally strengthen tonight and again Tuesday night leading to
freshening NE winds. An area of low pressure may start to take shape
off the East Coast mid week and could become a strong slow moving
system as it drifts northward into the weekend. The track continues
to have large variability while confidence is high that strengthening
NE winds and building seas will impact the waters through the end of
the week.
