A strong cold front crosses the waters early Thursday, clearing out
any fog and low clouds but also bringing gusty winds. Some gale force
conditions are possible, especially outside of the bays on Friday.
Winds and seas will gradually diminish into the weekend as high
pressure builds across the Gulf of Maine. Another system is possible
early next week.
