Knox...southeastern Oxford...western Waldo...Androscoggin...
southeastern Somerset...central Lincoln...Cumberland...Sagadahoc and
southeastern Franklin Counties...

At 1218 AM EST...An area of heavy snow showers was along a line
extending from near Madison to 10 miles west of Waterboro...and
moving southeast AT 30 MPH.

Locations impacted include...
Belgrade, New Gloucester, Wales, Whitefield, Bath, Fayette, Freedom,
Livermore Falls, Smithfield, Frye Island, Winslow, Lewiston, Bowdoin,
Brunswick, Alna, Bowdoinham, Leeds, Lisbon, Hartland, and Cumberland.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 295 between mile markers 4 and 51.
 Interstate 95 between mile markers 47 and 154.

This also includes...
  Sebago Lake, Long Lake, Streaked Mountain, Singepole Ridge, and
Douglas Mountain.
  Peaks Island, Long Island, Cushing Island, Cousins Island, and
Bailey Island.

  * Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a half mile in this
  area of heavy snow showers.

  * Sudden and brief snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are
  possible in this area of heavy snow showers.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
