...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM TUESDAY FOR
EXPOSED NORTH FACING SHORES...

.The combination of a medium period north to north-northeast
(010 to 020 deg) swell and a short period north-northeast to
northeast (020 to 040 deg) swell will produce large and rough
surf along north and east shores through Tuesday. The primary
swell direction will shift out of the northeast late Tuesday.
This will allow north shore surf to decline, but large surf will
persist along east facing shores through at least Wednesday night.

...HIGH SURF ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM HST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Along north facing shores, surf of 14 to 18 feet tonight,
  decreasing to 10 to 15 feet Tuesday. Along east facing shores,
  surf of 8 to 12 feet tonight, increasing to 10 to 14 feet
  Tuesday.

* WHERE...North facing shores of Kauai, Maui, Molokai, Niihau,
  Oahu and the Big Island.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM HST Tuesday, though this advisory will need to
  be extended through at least Wednesday night for east facing
  shores.

* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents
  will make swimming dangerous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Heed all advice from ocean safety officials. When in doubt, don`t
go out.
