.A large short to medium period north swell will produce advisory
level surf across select north and east facing shores today. This
swell will likely peak this morning then gradually decrease
through the day.

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 12 to 16 feet along north facing
  shores and 7 to 10 feet along east facing shores.

* WHERE...North and east facing shores of Kauai and Oahu. North
  facing shores of Maui and Niihau.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM HST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents
  will make swimming dangerous.
