...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 AM HST MONDAY FOR THE
ISLAND OF KAUAI IN KAUAI COUNTY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...The island of Kauai in Kauai County.

* WHEN...Until 1245 AM HST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in
  streams. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or
  is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 830 PM HST, radar indicated heavy rain over the entire
    island of Kauai. Rain was falling up to 1 inch per hour,
    however, showers have decreased, especially across the
    northern half of the island. Additional showers continue to
    develop from the southeast, so minor flooding and ponding of
    water on roadways remains possible.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Entire island of Kauai.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone
to flooding.

Do not cross fast flowing or rising water in your vehicle, or on
foot. Turn around, don`t drown.
