.DISCUSSION...
Moderate easterly trades will persist, bringing a 30 to 40 percent
probability of shower activity to the fire area through this
evening, then diminishing thereafter. A broad surface trough is
forecast to develop just northeast of the islands on Monday
escorted by a well-defined low aloft and will aid in winds
becoming noticeably weaker, veering southeast. This will be the
beginning of a land and sea breeze regime. Temperature inversion
heights across the state will range from 6000 to 7000 feet through
tonight.
