.DISCUSSION...
A medium period east swell generated by Post-Tropical Cyclone
Fausto will gradually fade through Friday. A new medium period
east swell from Hurricane Genevieve arrives Saturday and builds
for Sunday into Monday. Also this weekend, a medium period west-
southwest swell arrives from Super Typhoon Dolphin. Otherwise,
small (2 feet or less) south swells persist through early next
week. Fausto (as a remnant low) brings isolated thunderstorm
potential to Laysan and Lisianski beginning on Friday as it passes
north of the islands. The best chances for thunderstorms are
likely to remain north of the islands, but potential cannot be
entirely ruled out. More benign weather with isolated showers
returns for Monday.
