.DISCUSSION...
An upper-level low will bring increasing shower activity and the
possibility for thunderstorms today through Friday. The greatest
risk of thunderstorms will be tonight, with the system beginning
to clear out on Friday. This weekend, isolated to scattered
showers will prevail. A mix of small southerly swells are expected
through the forecast period, with some long-period (near 20
seconds) energy at around 1 to possibly 2 feet included in this.
There is also a small east swell generated by former Tropical
Storm Elida which peaks tonight and fades on Friday into the
weekend. Later this weekend, another small east swell generated by
Hurricane Fausto arrives and persists into next week.
