.DISCUSSION...
Light easterly winds will veer southeasterly and strengthen
somewhat as a front approaches, but remains to the west of Laysan
and Lisianski through Wednesday. High pressure rebuilding to the
northeast will return easterly trade winds toward the end of the
week. Overlapping small, medium- to long-period south swells will
affect the area through the week. The largest swell will arrive
from the north-northeast on Wednesday and peak Thursday before
gradually fading. Showers will remain isolated to scattered
through the week. No thunderstorms are expected.
