Offshore Waters Forecast for Hawaii

Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
A front is located near the far N offshore waters with a trough
over the NW offshore waters out ahead of it. Isolated to scattered
thunderstorms are expected tonight, with isolated thunderstorm
chances lingering through Tuesday night for the western waters.
The front will push W tonight into Monday as high pressure begins
to build north of the area. As a result, winds will gradually
decrease.

diminishing to 10 to 20 kt late in the night. Seas 7 to 13 ft,
highest NW waters. Isolated thunderstorms NW waters.
.MONDAY...E winds 15 to 25 kt. Seas 8 to 12 ft. Isolated
thunderstorms NW waters.
.MONDAY NIGHT...E winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft. Isolated
thunderstorms W waters.
.TUESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT...E winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 7 to 8
ft. Isolated thunderstorms far W waters.
.WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...E winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 7 to 11 ft,
Wednesday, lowering to 6 to 10 ft Thursday and 6 to 8 ft Friday.
