Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
A weak high pressure ridge will remain over the region through
early next week as a front approaching from the NW weakens near
the far NW waters by Sunday. Another front could move into the NW
waters on Tuesday. An extra large NW swell will pass through
Hawaiian waters and significantly elevate seas through early next
week.

S of ridge, E to SE winds 5 to 15 kt. Seas 6 to 17 ft, highest NW

.SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT...Ridge over central waters. N of ridge,
S winds 5 to 15 kt. S of ridge, E to SE winds 5 to 15 kt. Seas 10
to 14 ft, decreasing 10 to 12 ft overnight. Isolated
thunderstorms N of 23N.
.MONDAY THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT...Ridge over central waters. N of
ridge, S to SW winds 5 to 15 kt. S of ridge, E to SE winds 5 to 15
kt. Seas 7 to 11 ft, decreasing to 7 to 9 ft Monday night.

.TUESDAY...Cold front entering NW waters. W of front, NW winds 5
to 15 kt. E of front, SE to S winds 5 to 15 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft.
