Offshore Waters Forecast for Hawaii

Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
A high pressure ridge N of the Hawaiian Islands will weaken as a
front approaches the state from the NW. The front will enter the
NW offshore waters later today, with near gale-force winds behind
the front. A trough may develop over the far SE waters today. A
new high pressure will build N of the area midweek. Isolated
thunderstorms are possible through much of the forecast period.

11 ft. Isolated thunderstorms.
